This Wednesday I encountered an example of the importance of living in the present.
I was at a course with different professionals from the field of self-improvement.
At this event I noticed one major difference between myself and a psychologist.
There was a matter we did not agree upon.
I let go instantly by stating my truth and accepting our differences of opinion, enabling me to move on to the really important subject- being fully present at the course.
The psychologist on the other hand spent the whole day analyzing the past situation and turned it into a conflict.
This stopped her from getting the full extent of the methods taught there.
I guess the major difference between a NLP person and a psychlogist can be summed up by this example...
The past is gone and the future is still out there...So we basically only have the present...and what we focus on in the present is ultimately our choice.
So ask yourself this question: Where would you like to place your focus?
